The Punishment!!

The cash Prize to be awarded for the sports day was stolen!!

Meenakshi kutti the Headmistress told the students to keep back the cash award and assured they would not be punished.
But there was no response.
Next day , in the prayer meet she told the students that till the student who has taken the money accepts and returns the cash, she will punish herself by caning herself.
From morning till lunch time she caned herself which filled the eyes of teachers and students with tears.
Just before lunch time the student who had taken the money came to the stage and fell on her feet asking for apologize and told ,never would he repeat this incident in his life.

Now, this is not a story, a real incident that took place in Iduki at Kerala.

Well, teaching is a noble profession and teachers are our second mother. But not all teachers today set an example. There are teachers who make such incidents as big issue which in turn may create adverse effects in the mind of the student in future.

But the act of Head Mistress has changed the student. I am sure he is never going to repeat this in his future.
