I was all alone

Yesterday I was all alone
With dull night,
With murky days,
Longing for love and care
Longing for warm embrace
With tears in my eyes
wishing for a calm slumber
close to a tender heart!!

Yesterday I was left famished
With no one to agonize for me
With no one to offer food!!
Wandering with hunger
With ache in me,
wishing for gentle touch
from a friendly heart!!


Today my day is vivid,
Filled with care and concern
Now, in my world of solitude
I have two being just for me
For they accepted me
All their life, as their kid

Though not from them
I will forever worship them
Forever revere them
With all my feeling
With all my heart
For bringing in delight
To my world!!

Till my days on earth
on no account will I
forsake them for they are my
support and strength!!
For they are my source
Of liveliness and bliss!!
