Rose Plant!!

I have rose plant at my home. After many days I saw the rose plant budding. I felt happy. But to my surprise the rose flower was so small. It was not the usual Rose. I told regarding this to my friend. She suggested me to talk to the Rose plant daily while watering touch its leaves and then see the Result. I was bewildered by this suggestion but still tried it. To my surprise the next time I had a big beautiful rose flower. I was amazed. Then when I asked my teacher at school regarding this she told that plants can feel the touch. I was really surprised to hear that. From then on I take the most care when I am near plants, even when I walk on grass I feel that may cause them pain. Though they could not express their pain which we cause to them we can see a drop in their growth if we do not take proper care of them. I always wonder about the plants and trees near the smoking zone. How they must be affected by the smoke??
