True Beauty...

Recently the news which I came across kept me engrossed in thoughts that had raised a lot of questions in me.

Now , the news is that a lady who worked as a teacher and died recently at the age of 78, the cremation was done by her adopted daughter who is a physically challenged person.

This girl was thrown by her parents because she was attacked by polio . Her adopted mother took her from the street and brought her up. The money she earned through her teaching she spent on girl’s operation thrice so that her legs which were attacked by polio was operated and because of that today she could manage to stand on her own.

Now, the thing which was bothering me was, the lady who died had no blood relation with this girl. But still she sacrificed her life and she did not even marry for the sake of this girl. She spent all her money earned , on her operation for this girl with whom she was not related in anyway. I was wondering about the lady’s motherly feeling and her unconditional love she had for this girl. No one could deny that she lived and died as a great human.

As I was engrossed in these thoughts I remembered Mother Theresa. The lady who brought in light in the lives of downtrodden people. No one can deny she was a great human with humane in her.

Yes, true beauty lies in heart of an individual and not in the external appearance. Irrespective of gender, the greatest virtue that each and every individual must have in them is care and love for this humankind.

If religion, caste, creed, color, god ,borders of a country, if these things hinders our living, to live as a human then let us shatter them and break those barriers and just stand for Humanity.
