What if a girl says?!!

“What!!? You told him that you like him? You have a crush on him.”
“What did he tell for that?” asked my friend.
He replied he is already committed.
“But why did you say so? what he would have thought of you?” My friend was bugging me with these questions.
“What’s wrong in telling a guy if we have a liking to him?”I asked her.
“ No we should not say though we like them. That would create a bad impression on us.” replied my friend.
“When guys tell us we don’t take it in wrong sense then why would they alone.?”
“No,A girl should hide her feelings. We must not let our feelings to be known though we like that person”.
“Then, how will the person know that we liked them? Feelings are same for both gender. Why is it wrong and would create a bad impression when a girl expresses her feeling”.
There is nothing bad about it and nothing to worry too I told my friend.
After sometime again my friend asked, “will you tell all these things to your husband in future?”
I smiled at her and replied, “yes of course. Why should I hide it. It happens in everyone’s life and there is nothing to hide it dear”.
But my friend asked again, “what will he think of you then?”
This time I was irritated by my friend’s question.
I asked “ What would he think ? he would know that I had liked some other person before liking him” as simple as that.
“No that would create a bad impression on us”. replied my friend again.
I was puzzled. I don’t know whether my friend was too imaginative or guys are narrow minded.
I just told my friend “Be true to yourself and always go for a person who can accept you as you are”.
After many arguments and explanations my friend took the reality of what I told and smiled at me.
